Robert Pecht

Owner/Manager & Licensed Director

Robert Pecht is a New Jersey Licensed Funeral Director with more than 20 years of experience in his profession. He graduated from Rutgers University and went on to earn his Associates' degree in Occupational Studies from McAllister Institute of Funeral Services in New York, NY. Robert served his apprenticeship with Higgins Funeral Homes in Plainfield, North Plainfield, and Watchung, New Jersey.


Mr. Pecht is a member of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association (NJSFDA) and the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA). He is a member of the Bordentown Knights of Columbus Council 570 and has served as Grand Knight and Trustee. Robert has served as a Trustee and Past Exalted Ruler of the Bordentown Elks Lodge No.2085, is a co-founder and Past Vice President of the Foundation for Bordentown Traditions, and is a member of the Bordentown Rotary. His community involvement also includes his membership and status as a Past Officer of the Burlington Mercer Chamber of Commerce, and a past member of the Bordentown Shade Tree Committee.



Robert, his wife Stephanie, and their daughters are parishioners of Mary Mother of the Church Parish where Robert has served as a Past Trustee of the church. Robert and Giselle also serve as Ushers during services. Mr. & Mrs. Pecht reside on-site with their two daughters, Giselle & Margot, in the private home adjacent to the funeral home building.

Stephanie is a member of the St. Mary’s Altar Rosary Society, Garden Club, Historical Society, American Legion, Bordentown Elks Ladies Auxiliaries, and played a large part in the planning of events for the Bordentown 325th Anniversary Committee. She loves being a part of and volunteering for the Bordentown Community and, as her little girls grow, will encourage their participation as well. Stephanie also plays a backstage role in daily funeral home details as well as working full time for Shiseido Cosmetics in East Windsor, NJ.

Wayne Irons

Wayne Irons is a life-long resident of Bordentown, who thoroughly enjoys serving his community in many ways.  Wayne and his wife, Lynda, have also enjoyed raising their two children in Bordentown.  They have two grandchildren, who, you guessed it, have been born and raised in this very community.
If you have ever had the pleasure of taking a stroll along the city streets with Wayne, you would think he was the Mayor.  Wayne is very well-known in town and is full of knowledge of the community, both past and present.

Wayne is retired from Ocean Spray.  He is currently a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, the Knights of Columbus and the Bordentown Elks.  As a result of this and his love of the community, you will find Wayne volunteering at many of the events that are held in this charming little town of Bordentown.

Carmen Adonizio

Carmen was born in 1953 in Pittston, PA, and lived most of his life in Hamilton Township, NJ.  He attended St. Raphael’s grammar school and graduated from Hamilton High School West in 1972.   He remains a parishioner of St. Raphael’s/Holy Angels church in Hamilton.

After 20 years of service, Carmen retired as a supervisor at General Motors Corporation in Ewing, NJ.  He then worked for 20 years as a new car sales manager at Patterson Chevrolet and Superior Chevrolet before retiring in 2017.

He is a 22-year member and Past Exalted Ruler/Trustee of the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085.  He is also a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 570 in Bordentown.   
An avid sports fan, Carmen enjoys watching his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers.  He also enjoys playing a round of golf.

Carmen currently resides in Columbus with his wife of 45 years, Carol.  Together they have three children - Pat, Robert, and Jennifer and six grandchildren – Megan, Kaitlyn, Marc, Vincent, Leo, and Max.

Joseph M. DiMatteo

Joe was born in Trenton in 1949 and raised in the Trenton/Hamilton area. He attended St. Raphael’s School and St. Anthony’s High School. After high school Joe served in the US Navy from 1971-1975. He was stationed in San Diego Navy Hospital and Naval Biological Research Center in Alameda, CA. Joe also served on the USS Enterprise for 2 years as a Hospital Corps Medical Technician.

Joe worked at Carter-Wallace as a radiological technician where he met his wife Josephine of 34 years. Joe retired from Convex in 2017 and enjoys their beach house in Cape May, going to the beach, cooking, traveling, watching a good movie and listening to music of the 50s and 60s.
Joe is also father of two sons, the late Jason and Chris of South Carolina. Joe also has 4 grandchildren.

Alex Belonzi

Associate
Alex is a lifelong resident of Columbus, NJ. He is currently a student at Stockton University where he is majoring in Environmental Studies. He is a volunteer firefighter at the Franklin Fire Company #1 in Columbus. Alex is a member of the Hedding United Methodist Church and serves as a trustee as well as being active in helping the Youth Group. Alex loves being outdoors whether it be camping, fishing, or hunting.

Brian Maugeri Sr.

Associate
Brian was born in Trenton and has resided in Bordentown for the last 63 years.
Brian attended Bordentown Regional Schools from kindergarten until he graduated in 1974. After graduation, he joined the fire company of Hope Hose Humane 1 where he is a fireman and EMT protecting the Bordentown community for over 40 years.
Brian’s first love was baseball, playing from the age of 5 through high school. He also enjoyed playing in the school plays, concert and jazz bands. Brian has also played professionally in a band that played throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania for 30 years.
One of Brian’s favorite hobbies is restoring historic homes to their original beauty in his community with his wife of 30 years, Nancy.
Nancy and Brian raised two boys, Brian Jr. and Robert, and have a beautiful granddaughter Ryleigh.

Morris J. "Mario" Spoletini, 
In Memorium

Affectionately known as "The Mayor of Bordentown”, Morris served as the front door greeter for Bordentown Home for Funerals for many years. Visitors were always greeted with a handshake or a kiss. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, caring friend and is dearly missed by many.
