Nancy Comfort Belonzi, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at her home.
Born and raised in Trenton, she was a long- time resident of the Columbus Community.

Nancy graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrence, NJ. She received her bachelor of arts degree from then-Georgian Court College in Lakewood. NJ.

Nancy worked for most of her career in state service. She met her husband, Rai, while working for the Department of Environmental Protection. Most recently she served as an advocate for small businesses in the Secretary of State’s office.

Nancy was a generous and kind person who loved her family. She enjoyed crafts, spending time at the beach, traveling, politics, the movies and especially listening to Bruce Springsteen.

Daughter of the late John W and Nancy Comfort, she is predeceased by her brother, Denis W. Comfort. She is survived by her husband Raimund Belonzi, her children, Alison and Alexander Belonzi, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anni and Albert Belonzi, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Winnie Comfort, Hannah and Carl Jackson, Peggy Comfort, Mary Comfort, Nell Ann and John Pettit, Kate and Bob Watson, her nieces and nephews, Robert, Maureen Stites-Boyer and Denis Stites, Franklin Jackson, Brendan Comfort, Casey Comfort Davis, Christina, Stephanie, Bridget and Paul Pettit, Liam, Luke, Jake and Nora Watson, Phillip McCloughan, Shawn and Ashley Boyer, John Garrison, and Grace Davis and many caring cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 from 6–9 p.m. at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. At the family’s request, funeral services and burial will be private.
