Clara Matthews passed away Thursday January 4 2018 at the St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her bedside. Born in Clearfield PA she was a lifelong resident of the Bordentown community.
Clara worked in the white goods department at Two Guys for over twenty years. Clara was a very active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a diehard Phillies fan and lived to cook and bake, but Clara’s greatest joy in life was being the matriarch of her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by many.

Wife of the late Horace B “Satch” Matthews, she was predeceased by her brothers Johnny, Raymond and Tony Tucci her sister, Sylvia Foster, she is survived by her daughter, Jeanette C. Rockhill, her 4 Grandchildren Christine and (Patrick) Marrazzo, Irvin S. Rockhill Jr. and (Lesie Krajenki) Matthew T. (Lisa) Rockhill Colleen and (Matthew Brusnahan), her 7 great-Grandchildren Patrick, Keegan, Cassandra Marrazzo, Katherine, Kylie, Antonette, Gavin, Harry her 6 great-great-grandchildren. Miles, Wyatt, Avah, Paxton, Brielle, Hayden.

A Celebration of Clara’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday January 10 2018 11:00am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning from 9:00am until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bordentown Cemetery.
