Leona M Zendrosky “nee Kelly”, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 27th at the Masonic Home in Burlington with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton she was a lifelong resident of the Bordentown Community. As one of the “Kelly Girls” Leona enjoyed reading and being at the shore. But the greatest joy in her life was being a wife and mother to her family and cooking food in great quantity. When you stopped by at Leona’s home you never left hungry or thirsty. As a loyal confident you could always count on Leona to keep a secret. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, beloved sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, caring friend whom will be missed.

The daughter of the late John and Mary Kelly, she was predeceased by her children Karen and Richard J. Zendrosky, Jr. Survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Richard J. Zendrosky, her children, Carl and Debbie Zendrosky, Stacy Thompson, Kelly and Patrick Malloy, Shelly Brown, Dianne M. Walker, Aric Davala, Richard G. Zendrosky, Grandchildren, Molly Ann Ribavaro, Sean, Kevin, and Thomas Malloy, Marykate Walker, Shane Zendrosky, Nikki Slaven, Ashley Middlebrook, and Great Grand Daughter Karolyn Ribavaro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 31, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown with Father Stephen Schuler Officiating. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Bordentown. Memorial Donations may be made in Leona’s name to The American Parkinson Disease Association Inc., 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, New York 10305 1-800-223-2732.
