Loretta and I were classmates at St. Mary's School. We graduated in 1944. There were only 14 students in our graduating class so we knew each other well. She was always a true "friend" in every meaning of the word. I offer my sincere condolences to her family.

I have a fond memory of Aunt Loretta, at Mom Mom Wolverton's funeral. When she looked at my kids Bobby and Chad and said, do you want to play cards.. And what she had in her hands were the mass card. I know that the boys will never forget her too. As well as it was the first time that the boys meet Uncle Tom and looked at me and said Mommy, Pop Pop is here. Years after my dad passed. To very small little boys that loved their grandfather, that was priceless. It is funny what you remember, the things that stick in your head years long after their gone.
Aunt Loretta will be missed for sure.
Fondly,
Darlene Wolverton Anthony
