Eleanor A. Conover passed away peacefully on her 98th birthday, October 5, 2019.
Born in Haddon Heights, NJ, Eleanor was raised in Florence before becoming a long time resident of Bordentown Township where she volunteered for the Board of Elections. She worked at Florence Pipe and Foundry and was an Avon lady. Eleanor was a member of the Ladies of the Golden Eagle, Bordentown Seniors and Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Eleanor loved gardening and being outdoors. She loved the beach, bus trips and going to Atlantic City. She spent many hours crocheting and knitting beautiful items for family and friends as well as working on intricate puzzles. Eleanor enjoyed watching the Phillies and the Flyers.
The daughter of the late Albert and Victoria Wilson, she is predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Conover, her sister, Elizabeth Sandusky and brothers, Albert and Robert Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, two sons and their spouses. Cathy and Joseph Noll of Churchville, PA, Robert and Susan Conover of Bordentown, NJ and Gregory and Dawn Conover of Southampton, NJ. Eleanor is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan and Brenton Conover, Taryn, Patrick and Joseph (Jr.) Noll, Susan Schink, Gregory, Allison and Shannon Conover. Her great-grandchildren, Teagan, Jack, Mia, Joseph III, Sophia, Mason, Evelyn, Corie, Dominic, Amanda, Gracie, Grant, Gretchen and great, great-granddaughter, Paisley.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, October 10th, 2019 from 10:00am-11:00am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. 280 Crosswicks Rd. Bordentown, NJ. Service and Interment to follow.
